0. Definitions

• "Services": The GoodTaco SaaS platform, websites, APIs, mobile/desktop applications, and integrations
• "User," "you," or "your": Individual or entity using the Services

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Services (including beta versions), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

2. Scope of Service

2.1 Third-party Integrations

Services connect to Google, Xero, HubSpot, QuickBooks, and Airtable APIs. You are responsible for complying with each provider's terms and having rights to share data with GoodTaco. GoodTaco has no endorsement or affiliation with these services.

2.2 Sub-processors

You authorize GoodTaco to use sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy (Google, Railway, AWS, Cloudflare). We provide 30+ days' notice for material changes.

3. User Responsibilities

• Provide truthful account information
• Use Services lawfully and per export-control laws
• No sublicensing, reselling, or reverse-engineering
• Cannot train/fine-tune competing AI models
• Report bugs to [email protected]

3.1 Security & Data Residency

Data encrypted in transit and at rest. Production data stored in United States only.

3.2 Responsible Disclosure

Good-faith vulnerability reports welcome at [email protected]; bug-bounty program available.

4. Service Levels & Data Protection

High availability aimed for but not guaranteed. Nightly encrypted backups; quarterly disaster-recovery tests.

4.1 Breach Notification

Security incidents involving Personal Data trigger notification within 72 hours.

5. Data Collection & Privacy

Services governed by our Privacy Policy. GoodTaco does not sell Personal Data.

6. Intellectual Property

GoodTaco retains all rights to the Services. Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access Services per these Terms.

7. Feedback License

You grant GoodTaco a perpetual, royalty-free license for any feedback provided.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Services provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." Liability capped at the greater of USD 100 or fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

9. Governing Law & Venue

California law governs. Disputes resolved in Sacramento courts unless arbitration agreed.

10. Termination

GoodTaco may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice. You may stop using Services at any time.

11. Changes to Terms

Periodic updates occur. Material changes announced 30+ days in advance (email/in-app). Continued use equals acceptance.
